EMDR therapy & ART in Frisco, Texas

You’re ready for a new approach to therapy.

Maybe you’ve been to therapy before, and didn’t see the progress you wanted. I am trained in two evidence-based treatments to help provide you with long-term relief. I am professionally trained in both Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These evidence-based treatments are highly effective in addressing PTSD, trauma, and related disorders.

Light bar is for Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

EMDR & ART therapy can help feel better again.

“The goal of EMDR therapy is trait change so that the negative emotions and sensations will no longer habitually arise.”— Francine Shapiro, Developer of EMDR

What we’ll work on

With EMDR or ART, you can…

Work through your distress situation without discussing it in detail. If your body is stuck in one of the common trauma responses-fight, flight, or freeze, you might be struggling to heal on your own. Both EMDR and ART can help get your brain back to safety and promote healing.

These are structured methods that I will help guide you through while using bilateral stimulation. We can customize this to your sensory needs. Bilateral stimulation, can involve eye movements, taps, or sounds, to stimulate both sides of the brain. A multitude of challenges can be addressed, such as: sleep disturbances, nightmares, panic attacks, trauma, pain, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, etc.

Here, your journey is heard.
